Tissue diagnosis is central to breast cancer management. This course provides structured, hands-on training in the safe and effective performance of core needle biopsy and punch biopsy in breast surgery, with a strong emphasis on safety, technique, specimen adequacy, specimen handling and infection control allowing participants to gain confidence and competence in biopsy techniques before performing them independently in clinical practice.
