There are 6 designated training centres in England which provide specialist training for staff working in breast screening.
The training centres work closely with the screening quality assurance service and breast screening units to meet training needs of staff working in the breast screening programme.
National Breast Imaging Academy
- Mammography associate apprenticeship, in collaboration with NHS England North East & Yorkshire.
- Postgraduate Certificate in Mammography, in partnership with the University of Salford.
