X-ray guided breast interventional biopsy

The module will provide you with the necessary skills to undertake X-ray guided breast interventional procedures and develop your leadership qualities to enable you to work towards advanced clinical practice. Completion of a clinical portfolio of cases is required to provide evidence of your clinical competence and the production and presentation of a poster will demonstrate your understanding of the evidence base that underpins the principles of breast biopsy.

The course is aimed at Mammographers wishing to train in the advanced practice of X-ray guided interventional procedures.
