Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Medical Imaging

Lyndsay Kinnear, NBIA Radiographic Lead & Training & Education Lead (mammography) at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT),  works in partnership with the University of Salford to deliver aspects of the fundamentals of mammography and advanced techniques in mammography modules of the postgraduate certificate in advanced medical imaging.  Lyndsay is responsible for overseeing the clinical training and developing learning resources with the help of the module lead, Dr Claire Mercer, and other clinical experts in mammography.

All mammography modules available from the University of Salford are delivered with a blended approach to learning and incorporate distance learning activities : flipped classrooms and live interactive sessions.  The excellent e-LfH resources and the National Breast Imaging Academy’s expertise will be utilised to support the overall learning package.
